Sling meets are a great opportunity to come along and find out more about babywearing. They are a relaxed, social setting, with at least one babywearing consultant on hand with a library of slings, and you have the opportunity to ask questions, try out some slings, hire a sling and chat with other like-minded parents. They are also a great way to get advice on a sling you may already have, or finding out more sling options as your child gets bigger.
I help to run Cheltenham & Gloucester Sling Library, and the slings are available to hire at any time from Blue Skies Natural Parenting Centre and Play Cafe in Cheltenham. Cheltenham Sling Meet is also held once a month at Blue Skies, on the second Monday of the month.
I have recently set-up Gloucester Sling Meet which is once a month on a Friday morning.
